Conditional Statements

Use if, else if, else, and switch to control flow.

if (score >= 90) {

• Modern switch (Java 14+) supports arrow syntax and yields values in expressions.
• Classic switch falls through without break; arrows avoid fall-through.
• Keep conditions simple; extract complex logic into helper methods.
• Guard against null when comparing objects to avoid NullPointerException.
